| Abstract: | The supreme purpose of the book is to argue for the present and past of India's understanding in various fields, viz. epistemology, metaphysics, ethics, religion, polity, economics , science, culture, and history, which seems to have twin aspects, i.e . first, to correct a biased interpretation of some Western scholars according to which Indian Philosophy is not more than a mere religious and metaphysical speculation, and second, to present in-depth analysis of India's current socio-political upheavals. |
