dc.description.abstractSindhi writers have expanded the canvas of Sindhi literature in India. However, the other aspect of this reality is very disappointing. In Pakistan’s political history, the injustices done to Sindh have adversely affected the course of Sindhi language and literature. At the official level not much has been done for Sindhi language. 14 SHSS 2016 Unless a language is wedded to an economic cause, it cannot prosper. A Sindhi-knowing young man cannot procure employment. A language also prospers if it is made the medium of instruction. Sindhi has not got its due from this angle too.en_US
