Abstract: | it would be wrong to think of the feminine as inferior to the masculine. Draupadi obviously is the female counterpart of the male icons who have elevated from the mundane. She despite being placed in a very difficult situation transcends the difficulties presented by the framework and becomes the female epitome of Dharma. |
