| Abstract: | One after the other, three leading nationalists of India; namely, Tilak, Bankim and Gandhi, came out to interpret the Bhagvadgita. Though not a direct participant in the freedom struggle, Bankim was no less nationalist than Tilak and Gandhi. He contributed to the national struggle with the help of his writings. |
