| Abstract: | The international economic environment is changing fast. Liberalization, globalization, and rationalization are taking place rapidly in the world economy, in which so far South Asia is lagging behind. In this context, SAPT A may be considered as a landmark in the process of trade cooperation among the SAARC countries. It will, on the one hand, silence the critics that SAARC is only for resolutions and recommendations and on the other hand. it will pave the way for intensive trade cooperation. |
