| Abstract: | Perfection for human beings is a myth as only God is perfect. There is a fascinating, although controversial, reading of The Old Testament which treats Adam as an androgynous being , self-complete. However, even Adam needed Eve to be complete. Since the'n, the history of man has been the history of the duality between Time and Eternity, and his life on this planet, a perennial quest for the unification and integration of the two halves into a single being. |
