Abstract: Diaspora is a process and outcome of Globalization. It can be considered erroneous to say that Diaspora had its origin in the recent past with reference to the Jews. The historical records do not document the origin of Diaspora as being earlier to that of the Jews. But as it is natural any immigrant group has to have conducive environment to retain their culture, proper demophic. features, and the cultural linkages with their land of origjn (real or imaginary) necessary for the formation of Diaspora.
