| Abstract: | The spatial extent and influence of a religious movement may be conveniently discerned from its integrated network generating a circulation mechanism commonly explained by the term - pilgrimage. In fact when we are confronted with the term (pilgrimage), a vivid picture of pilgrims, worshipping at various sacred centres in a fixed (or even haphazard) brder, is perceived. |
