In the last quarter of the 16th'century and the first a quarter of the 17th, the solid foundations of a town called Ramdaspur were laid in terms of its socio-religious institutions and its socio-economic life in consonance with the high ideals of Guru Ram Das as a successor of Guru Nahak. |
