| Abstract: | Various countries in the Arab world began to print maps in which they called the area that has always been known as the Persian Gulf the " Arabian Gulf ". This was not a mere matter of nomenclature-it was a symptom of a rivalry which was rooted in history, a rivalry between two different races, two different religions, two different cultures. |
