Problems Of Economic Development In South East Asia

Abstract

In dealing with a country like India or China, an economic problem is at once evident, because of over-population. But in South-east Asia, by which I mean the triangle enclosed between Burma, the Philippines and Indonesia, I do not really think that there is over-population in the sense in which we think of it in China or India or the Middle East.
