<description>Title: Breaking the Bowl of Clay The Dynamics of Representation— Contexts of CulturalSituation(s) Dialectics, Social Transformation and Value
Authors: Sivaramakrisnan, Murali
Abstract: Charged times require calm contemplation. The greater the din made by the forces of hate, the deeper the need for poetry, song, philosophy, for pursuing those questions that disturb the assumptions to which we cleave(?) The outpouring on the internet and in the media postGujarat, is the uprising of precisely such a desire to think, rethink, speak out again and again, in the name of our humanity, or to draw on spiritual vernacular, our Divine potential.. . Death can and must provoke us to see clearly and live fully. Even in the deadliest hour truth can reveal itself.

      <title>Literature, Culture and Society—A Writer’s Response</title>
      <link>http://localhost:8080/jspui/handle/123456789/4809</link>
      <description>Title: Literature, Culture and Society—A Writer’s Response
Authors: Ashokamitran
Abstract: As a writer of some fifty years standing and having had to face and interact with different kinds of readers (who are the truly the real justification for a writer), I must say that I am saddened when I reflect upon the relationship of literature and the possible slackening or heightening of forces of change or dynamism of Indian society. Maybe I can’t call myself a valid representative of all writers of this country.
